Free volunteer opportunity in Nepal

We provide challenging customized volunteer opportunities that benefit both the volunteers and the people of Nepal. A volunteering service focused on the development of local community and cultural exchange activities. To make volunteer work most exciting and highly educative, we have conceived an idea of ‘home stay program’ where we put our volunteer together with local families of the region, at least 1, 2 or 3 volunteers share a family and we make sure that all the volunteers are given a warm hospitality and maintain top hygienic level while catering to the guests. We are very hopeful that this program offers our volunteers a highly rewarding holiday where they can interact with local families involving themselves in various volunteering activities such as teaching in local schools, helping local health post, assisting in various community services and so on. We have several volunteers’ base programs in urban and rural area as well therefore we can find the appropriate place for volunteers according to their interest and qualification.

Our programs are available to individuals and groups run through out the year.

Services to our volunteers 

Safety of our volunteers, and to maintain the highest quality of programs possible, we offer the following services to our volunteers: 

• Airport pickup and transportation to accommodation. 
• Manage clean and safe rooms with a local host family. 
• Conduct language and orientation programs for our volunteers to obtain a high level of understanding of local culture, language and customs before beginning their volunteer programs. 
• Assistance with in-country transportation and travel suggestions. 
• Facilitate with visa extensions. 
• A high level of program quality through thoroughly researched projects, defined program itineraries, and regular supervision. 
• Services from full-time experienced and qualified staff. 
• Independent travel advice and services and, most importantly, a team member with the experience to answer all your queries and inquisitions. 

Any help Advice and suggestions on fundraising and other issues such as health, culture, excursions, travel, safety, and special events.

Types of volunteer placement

High Himalayan community project Nepal has been incessantly facilitating and advocating for high Himalayan communities therefore Volunteers are required to contribute in the areas like school education, health, community development, forest conservation, agriculture, culture preservation and fund raising, orphanage centre; children care centre and similarly Volunteers can be a part of to build regular water tap, toilets, schools, health centre, and painting of public houses, bridges, micro hydro projects, water mills and other project implementing areas in related districts in accord with their interests and abilities .

Note: We offer special trekking package for volunteers who are volunteers in Nepal as a community base program.
