Why I prefer this trekking?

Exploring the famous Tso Rolpa ice lake, breathtaking scenery of terrace farmlands, panoramic snow covered soaring high Himalayan peaks, Tashi Lapcha pass, Unique local village, life style and culture, Kind and Warm hearted people, completely Tibetan influences, nice view of Tama koshi and its fresh and natural fishes , many hidden valley, excellent views of natural beauty and unexpected wild life, Himalayan landscape, Sherpa culture, monasteries, Tibetan view, Mt. Everest view, Rolwaling Trek Nepal is famous for Cho Rolpa Glacier Lake (4540m), high route through Tashi Lapcha Pass (5755m) and its diverse culture and many more wide varieties of scenery are my attraction points in this region.

Short description of Rolwaling trekking region
This region lies between Langtang range and Everest range and the side of both Mt. Langtang and Mt. Everest are the high lights of this trek. The trekkers will be rewarded with the enchanting view of Majestic mountains mostly which offers superb Himalayan scenery of Mt.Gaurishanker, Rolwaling Himal, Chobabhamre, Dorje Lakpa, Yalung Ri, Pachharmo peak etc, with walking many Hidden valley , an excellent habitat for a wide variety of plants and animals: 526 species of plants, 40 species of orchids and 300 species of birds and wild animals include many kinds of monkeys, the Himalayan Thar, Gaur, and the musk deer, Himalayan black bear, wild dog, and more than 250 species of birds. The route is near by the Tibet border side so that one can understand a little about Tibetan culture too. 

This area is mostly used by Buddhist people However; we can also see the Brahmin, Chhetri, Tamang and Sherpa villages and their life style. It is known as one of the seven hidden valleys in the Himalayas. Rolwaling meaning ‘the furrow left by the plough’ is a quiet mountain and steep-walled valley as its name suggest. Rolwaling trekking provides an excellent opportunity for short climb to peaks like Ramdong Go peak 5930m, Yalung Pass (5310m) and varied trips to Tashi Lapcha pass 5755m and Na Gaon can be a rewarding experience, a good landscapes; the village of Beding (3,690m) and monastery, the village of Na (4,183m); Tso Rolpa lake are the main attractions, either exploring the glacier up towards the mountain or the surrounding hills. 

This is a wild and barely explored district where legendary tales of the abominable snowman, known as the "Yeti", haunt the imagination of climbers. On the slope of Rolwaling Peak itself, the famous British mountaineer, Eric Ship ton, first photographed Yeti footprints in 1951. Trekkers will also be enjoying beauty of Tsho-Rolpa, the largest Glacier Lake in Nepal and can continue on to the Khumbu region which links to trek routes in the Everest region.

Outline itinerary 
Day 01 : Arrive in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel and welcome dinner in the evening
Day 02 : Sightseeing in Kathmandu city. Preparation for the trek.
Day 03 : Drive east to Charikot/Dolakha (130 km / 7 hours), camp in Dolakha (1951m).
Day 04 : Dolakha - Ratmate - Malepu - Sigati (950m), down to Ratmate 
And then walk straight along the bank of river to Sigati - 3 hours
Day 05 : Sigati - Bharle - Suridobhan - Jamune - Tatopani- Manthali - Jagat, walk Along the river of Bhotekosi - 3 hours
Day 06 : Jagat - Gongo Khola - Chhyot - Simi Guano (1950m), straight walk up to Chhyot and cross the bridge & straight up to Simi Guan - 4 hours
Day 07 : Simmi Guan - Jungle - Bumming gad - Kettering - Colette - Donning, walk to Bumming straight and then slightly up to Kettering & straight to Donning (only two small hotels) - 5 hours.
Day 08: Donning - Thanking - Samara - Chhumugokhe - Chhangma - Bheding Gaun (3690m), walk straight to Thanding & then 10 minutes walk up to Samdar. A temple of god Shiva is located in Samdar & walk straight to Pheding. Up to Pheding teahouse facilities available - 5 hours.
Day 09: Bheding - Na - Chodalpa (4540m), Straight to Na and then climb up to Chodalpa - 3 hours.
Day 10: Chodalpa - Dorokpa (Tashi Lapcha Basecamp), straight up to Dorokpa.
Day 11 : Dorokpa - Naile Phukpa, walk straight up two hours and then three hours just straight to Naile Phukpa (Cave).
Day 12: Naile Phukpa - Thame (3790m) - 6 Hrs.
Day 13: Thame - Namche Bazar (3446m) - 6 Hrs.
Day 14: Namche Bazar - Lukla (2860m) - 6 Hrs.
Day 15: Lukla - Kathmandu, fly for 45 minutes from Lukla.
Day 16: Rest day in Kathmandu.
Day 17: Sightseeing in historical, ancient city of Bhaktapur. Farewell Dinner in the evening.
Day 18: Depart. From hotel, transfer to Airport.
